This microlot's name literally means ' Red Rattlesnake' in Portuguese. Rattlers, believe it or not, are an essential part of the Brazilian coffee ecosystem because they eat rodents & pests that can wreak havoc on coffee trees & their root systems.
This coffee has a lovely fruity profile of pomegranate & strawberry, with a hint of cocoa. The Natural processing of the beans, combined with the fact that these beans are light roasted, enhance the flavor & brightness in the cup.
