This special African peaberry coffee hails from the Mbeya region of southwest Tanzania and is grown at 1650m. A slightly floral, honeylike sweetness is complemented by notes of apricot and vanilla.
The peaberry gets its name because of its uniquely round pea shape. Additionally, peaberry coffees contain only 1 seed (or bean) inside the cherry instead of the normal two. Some think therefore that peaberry coffees are more intense and flavorful.
